Rally/race built Escorts Mk1/2 are reaching stupid money these days and I am not following the market, but for that kind of money I think I would expect a Sierra Cosworth engine, not a Pinto. Or at least a Pinto but with an alloy block. And the bodyshell would have to be a reinforced “Export” Type 49, not a standard one.
Visually it seems to be a nice replica (Gr 4 Escorts had BDA engines, not Pinto ones: those were for Gr 1 and 2), but then the 15" wheels are wrong.
At first glance workmanship seems to be excellent. But I find it curious that there are no pictures of the engine bay.
As FSI says, for that kind of money the Opel seems to be the better deal. It certainly is a lot less expensive (even if it is a load of money for an Opel 1.9, but I imagine those have stupid prices too, lately). Is that a much later engine? Seems to have electronic injection.

Pretty, but so expensive... My wife gets worried when she finds out I’m looking at 600€ Golfs on the European sites.
